I'm new to deviantART! I am just getting back into art. I loved sketching as a kid but never got into paint or color of any kind. I have been learning colored pencil painting techniques for the last 2 months since I am most comfortable with a pencil in my hand. I really love it but it does require a lot of patience. I'm hoping to meet other colored pencil artists and learn techniques that will make it easier and maybe a little faster. I have always had a love of photography also but struggle with my perfectionist side when it comes to my photos! I'm working on it!

I found your poetry...it's beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. You are really talented. I have the same problem photographing my art. I have an amazing camera and my artwork always looks funny to me when I try to photograph it. I'll have to ask some of the artists how they are getting their artwork looking so good online!
